Qualifications

• Parent Educator license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to child development.
• Maintain group dynamics to create an effective learning atmosphere.
• Evaluate materials, keep records, and prepare progress reports.
• Identify children's needs and make referrals as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents via newsletters, calls, or emails.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to support students.
• Integrate technology into instruction where appropriate.
• Coordinate paraprofessionals and volunteers as needed.
• Respond to emergency situations and follow district policies.
