Job summary

Camdenton R-III School District is seeking an early childhood paraprofessional to join our team. The role supports teachers by managing activities, supervising children aged 3-5, and reinforcing lessons.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe, positive learning environment. Essential duties cover monitoring students in classrooms, on playgrounds, during meals, and on field trips.

Qualifications

• 60 hours college credit or completion of the Para-Pro Assessment Test.
• Background checks and screenings required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and assist with personal care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with play-oriented curriculum and learning centers.
• Supervise children during play, meals, and field trips.
• Help with clothing, toileting, hand washing and maintain a clean environment.
• Support daily routines: attendance, snacks, materials organization, and cleanup.
• Implement behavioral plans and encourage positive social interactions.
• Prepare communication folders, materials, and assist with data collection.
