Qualifications

• Attendance of free AISD Paraprofessional Academy once hired.
• Some experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials.
• Help supervise students throughout the school day.

Skills

Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics

Ability to work well with children

Effective communication skills

Good judgment in problem-solving

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associate's degree or two years in higher learning preferred
