Job summary

The Learning Experience in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking an organized, energetic Assistant Director to lead daily operations, coach teachers, and support families while upholding licensing standards.

You will partner with the Center Director, manage enrollment, staffing, and classroom safety, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment that promotes professional growth and high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience coaching teachers and supporting families is preferred.
• Knowledge of licensing requirements and compliance in Colorado childcare.

Responsibilities

• Support overall center operations and daily management
• Maintain licensing compliance and accurate staff/child files
• Manage enrollment paperwork and administrative records
• Coach, mentor, and support teachers to help them succeed
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training new team members
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
• Maintain safe, clean, and engaging learning environments
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily operational needs
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive culture
