Job summary

The Learning Experience #395 in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking an organized, energetic Assistant Director to lead daily operations, coach teachers, and support families while ensuring licensing compliance.

You will partner with the Center Director, manage enrollment, training, and hiring activities, and help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for children.

• Maintaining Colorado licensing compliance and ensuring all child and staff files are accurate and up to date
• Managing enrollment paperwork, medication documentation, and administrative records
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting teachers to help them succeed
• Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging learning environment
• Supporting classroom ratios and stepping into classrooms as needed
• Assisting with scheduling, staffing, and daily operational needs
• Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and positivity

What You'll Do:

Preferred Qualifications

• Meets Colorado Director or Large Center Director qualifications (or is qualified as an Early Childhood Teacher with leadership experience)
• Previous experience in childcare leadership or administration
• Strong understanding of Colorado childcare licensing regulations
• Experience with enrollment, compliance, and administrative systems
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
