Job summary

The Goddard School in Collierville, TN is hiring a Lead Teacher for our Toddler and Preschool programs. You will plan, present, and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities, guiding children in a safe, nurturing environment while coordinating daily class operations.

This role requires an Associate or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (or related field), a Child Development Associate (CDA), and at least two years of previous experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience.
• Ability to learn and implement Goddard curriculum and assessment systems.
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.

• Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
• Maintain safe classroom environment and appropriate ratios.

Our lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Teachers work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
