The Goddard School in Collierville, TN is seeking a Lead Teacher for our preschool program serving ages 3-4. You will coordinate daily class operations, plan and present engaging activities, and work closely with children and parents to deliver quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• CDA required if no degree.
• Minimum 2 years of previous lead teacher experience.
• Ability to learn and implement Goddard curriculum and assessment systems.
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Ability to multi-task, work cooperatively and manage challenges professionally.
• Complete required trainings for the State of Tennessee and Goddard.
• Meets background check eligibility and additional state requirements.

Our lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Teachers work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
