Job summary

The Goddard School in North Ridgeville, OH is seeking a lead teacher who can coordinate daily class activities, plan lessons, and support children's growth in a warm, safe environment. You will work closely with families and staff to deliver a premium early childhood education experience.

This role requires a CDA/Associate's degree or higher, strong communication and multitasking skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of CDA/Associate's degree required for lead teacher position.
• Experience in childcare center setting preferred.
• Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes.

Our lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Teachers work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
