International School of Portland is seeking qualified substitutes for Early Childhood Language Immersion in Spanish, Chinese, or Japanese. The role involves guest-teaching and assisting in a small-class setting with language immersion throughout the day.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Education, have 6 months to 1 year of relevant teaching experience, and can pass background checks. The position is on-call and requires flexibility across M–F during the school term.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Teaching/Education or equivalent.
• Native/strong language fluency in Spanish, Chinese, or Japanese with ability to teach.
• Experience in language immersion or multicultural settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide substitute language immersion instruction in Early Childhood.
• Support classroom activities in English and target language.
• Collaborate with lead teachers and support staff to meet student needs.
