Job summary

Ingham Intermediate School District is seeking an Early Childhood Specialist to coach GSRP staff across local districts, using a continuous quality improvement model and collaborative consultation with staff, agencies, and administrators.

The role emphasizes data-driven coaching, observation, modeling, and planning to implement best practices in PreK settings, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and partnership with MiLEAP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in early childhood education or child development or related field is required.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in early childhood education are required.
• Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate with ZA/ZS, B-K, or PreK-3 endorsement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide data driven instructional coaching to GSRP teachers following established coaching model.
• Observe teachers and collect data to understand instructional practices.
• Model evidence-based instructional practices in classrooms and mentor staff.
