Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college credit preferred.
• Possession of 48 college credits or higher is desirable for the role.
• CDA may be required depending on program and district policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teachers by instructing students in small groups or one-on-one settings.
• Monitor and report student progress and behavior according to district guidelines.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with clerical tasks and attendance records.
• Support teacher in setting up learning areas and distributing supplies; operate audio-visual equipment as needed.
• Conduct home visits when necessary and participate in professional development activities.
• Ensure safety and healthy classroom practices; supervise labs, meals, and playground activities.
