Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures and health standards in classroom.
• Collaborate effectively with classroom team to support students.
• Read, write and speak English fluently to communicate with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Greet children and families daily and foster welcoming relationships
• Support in recognizing and addressing individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs (IEPs)
• Assist Lead Teacher with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula and Cadence Signature Programs
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence-approved tools
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents per policy
• Help manage student behaviors according to Cadence policies
• Adhere to Employee Handbook policies and participate in required trainings and meetings
