Job summary

Hilltop Children's Center in Liberty Hill, TX is seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead a cohesive classroom team, coordinate curriculum, and manage daily operations, ensuring a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

You will communicate with children, parents and staff, guide assistants, maintain records, and participate in meetings and development plans. A minimum of 2 years in child care is required; higher credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional child care experience.
• Must clear full background check and health screening.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; basic computer skills.
• High energy and ability to work well with staff, children, and parents to foster a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices.
• Lead by example; mentor and coach teaching team.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to engage children and support growth.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through progress reports and conferences.
• Ensure center policies and state regulations are met.
• Maintain a healthy, hygienic, and safe classroom environment.
• Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers; ensure adherence to activities and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and files and participate in staff meetings.
