Child Care Resources Inc in Southington, CT invites applications for Early Childhood Teachers and Assistant Teachers. You will create a nurturing environment for infants to 5-year-olds and collaborate with an assistant to care for groups up to 20 in preschool settings.

Minimum education is High School or Equivalent; a BA/BS in ECE or related field is preferred for accreditation. Experience with young children and reliable transportation are valued assets.

Formación

• At least 12 ECE credits completed.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• BA/BS in ECE, Child Study, Child Development, or related field required for NAEYC Accreditation.
• Evidence of experience with young children; three professional references preferred.
• Reliable transportation is preferred.
• Demonstrates the SMILE approach: Smile, Make others feel special, provide Information, Listen, Engage with children.

Responsabilidades

• Implement positive discipline techniques to foster independence and social skills.
• Accurate record keeping and data management.
• Maintain open and effective communication with families.
• Uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries.

• Develop curriculum aligned with CTELDS to support growth and development.
• Evaluate children's progress in alignment with CTDOTS.
• Maintain required certifications and stay up-to-date with regulations.
