About This Role

We are seeking talented and compassionate Early Childhood Teachers/Assistant Teachers to join our team at Town & Country Early Learning Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for children from birth to 5 years old. If you are passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a safe and supportive space for young children to thrive, we encourage you to apply.

Our Infant/Toddler teachers work closely with an assistant teacher to care for up to 8 children aged 6 weeks to 36 months, while our Preschool teachers oversee up to 20 children aged 3 to 5 years.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing positive discipline techniques to foster independence, self-regulation, and social skills in children
• Accurate record keeping and data management
• Maintaining open and effective communication with families
• Ensuring confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries
• Maintaining a safe, engaging, and educational learning environment
• Developing curriculum that aligns with the CTELDS to support children’s growth and development
• Evaluating children’s progress in alignment with the CTDOTS
• Maintaining required certifications and staying up-to-date with industry regulations
• Demonstrating a commitment to punctuality and reliability

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Have at least 12 ECE credits
• Be at least 18 years old
• Meet NAEYC Accreditation requirements by holding a BA/BS in ECE, Child Study, Child Development, or a related field
• Provide evidence of experience working with young children, preferably three professional references
• Possess reliable transportation

• Employees working 35 - 40 hours/week are considered full time after completing a 90-day work test period.
