Job summary

Grow Early Learning Corp in Alexandria, IN is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education Disabilities Coordinator to supervise, train, and provide technical assistance to classroom staff for quality early childhood services.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in ECE or related field with relevant coursework and experience with children with disabilities; a Master’s is preferred and bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in ECE or related field with 6 courses (18 credits) in early childhood education; Head Start, supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities in an educational setting.
  • Masters in ECE or related field with 6 courses (18 credits) in early childhood education; Head Start, supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred and experience training staff.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and professionals to develop individualized education plans for each child.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on best practices for working with young children.
  • Recruit, screen, interview, and hire classroom staff in cooperation with Center Director and appropriate staff.

About the Role:

  • Experience providing training and support to teachers and staff on best practices for working with children

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans for each child
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on best practices for working with young children
  • Recruit, screen, interview, and hire classroom staff in cooperation with Center Director and appropriate staff following guidelines established in Grow Early Learning's Personnel Policies. Address disciplinary issues and conduct performance appraisals according to Grow Early Learning policies and guidelines.
