Beanstalk Academy, a leading early childhood education provider with multiple locations in the Bronx and Brooklyn, seeks an Education Director to oversee facilities, staffing, and program administration.

You will ensure licensing compliance, support families, and coordinate services for children with special needs while fostering a warm, learning-focused environment. This in-person role offers competitive pay and growth opportunities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• NYS Certification for Early Childhood Education Birth to Grade 2 (Required).
• F07 and S95 (Required or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Two years or more of teaching and supervising experience.
• Strong relationship-building with families and staff.
• Familiarity with the Creative Curriculum, ECERS, and Teaching Strategies Gold.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Management: Ensure classrooms are safe, attractive, and developmentally appropriate.
• Staffing Management: Supervise the program team, from office staff to teaching personnel.
• Program Administration: Ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
• Parental Communication and Involvement: Orient new parents and coordinate services for children with disabilities or behavioral needs.
