Job summary

Beanstalk Academy, a leading child care and early education provider with multiple locations in the Bronx and Brooklyn, is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our team. You will assist in planning and implementing engaging activities to support the growth and development of preschool and pre-kindergarten students in a safe, nurturing environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience with young children, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans to promote development
• Support students with diverse needs including ELL and special needs
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment
• Engage in activities that promote socialization and inclusivity
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and guardians
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development
