Job summary

Beanstalk Academy in Bronx, NY is seeking an Education Director to lead multiple locations, overseeing facilities, staffing, program administration, and parental communication. You will ensure licensing compliance and foster a nurturing educational environment for young children.

The ideal candidate holds NYS Certification for ECE Birth-2 and has 2+ years of teaching/supervising experience, with strong customer service and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• NYS Certification for Early Childhood Education Birth to Grade 2 (Required)
• F07 and S95 (Required or willing to obtain them upon hire)
• Two years or more of teaching and supervising experience in a similar position
• Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand.
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
• Familiarity with the Creative Curriculum, ECERS, and Teaching Strategies Gold.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Management: ensure classrooms are safe, attractive, and developmentally appropriate.
• Staffing Management: supervise the program, including office managers, teachers, teaching assistants, family workers, janitors, and cooks.
• Program Administration: ensure compliance with state and local licensing regulations.

We are seeking an exceptional Education Director to lead several of our locations. As an Education Director at Beanstalk Academy, you will be responsible for overseeing facilities management, staffing management, program administration, and parental communication and involvement.
