Job summary

KinderCare in Ridgefield, CT is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to mentor staff, deliver the curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing learning environment. You will collaborate with parents to support each child’s development and ensure a positive classroom experience.

The position requires 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience, necessary certifications, and the ability to engage with families and community partners. This is a full-time, on-site role at our center.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• English reading, writing and speaking to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum; tailor to the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support each child’s development and learning.
