Responsibilities

• Assists with implementing the daily program under the supervision of the assigned teacher.
• Assists with planning and preparing the learning environment and materials.
• Supervises the classroom when the teacher is out of the room.
• Maintains professional attitudes and confidentiality; communicates with parents.
• Participates in staff meetings and professional development activities.
• Supports the needs of the whole child—emotional, academic, physical, social, and nutritional.
