Job summary

The Ridgewood YMCA, part of YMCA of Greater New York, seeks an Early Childhood Director to lead all early learning programs, supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance. • Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field with 30 credits) and state certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with state certification and pursuing a related Master’s program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve quality of Early Learning and after-school programs.
• Ensure DOE/DOH regulatory compliance and funder requirements.
• Supervise staff, volunteers, and interns; provide coaching and training.
