About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking family situated in Welkom, Free State, is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Development Facilitator to undertake a nanny role. This position is focused on providing comprehensive care and structured educational experiences for their two young children, aged 18 months and 3 years. The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering a stimulating and nurturing environment that supports the children's holistic development, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and affectionate care for two young children (18 months and 3 years).
• Develop and implement age-appropriate learning activities, focusing on sensory play, language development, and fine/gross motor skills.
• Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Assist with daily routines, including feeding, napping, dressing, and hygiene.
• Ensure the children's safety and security at all times, indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating play environment.
• Communicate effectively and consistently with parents regarding the children's progress, activities, and needs.
• Engage children in positive social interactions and encourage emotional expression.
• Plan and supervise outdoor play and excursions to age-appropriate locations.
• Document key developmental milestones and daily activities.

Requirements

• A qualification in Early Childhood Development or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience, with specific experience with infants and toddlers.
