Job summary

Child Development Resources in Williamsburg, VA, seeks an Information & Reporting Specialist to translate program data into actionable insights. You will collect, clean, analyze, interpret, and visualize data to support compliance reporting and continuous improvement in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, public policy, education research, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in data analysis, preferably within early childhood education settings.
  • Proficiency with data entry tools (e.g., Excel, Airtable) and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct VA ITSN Data Analysis, Reporting, and Quality Assurance.
  • Build, maintain, and update electronic compilations of all Network coaching service agreements.
  • Analyze CLASS® observation data to identify trends, patterns, and relationships across Network-served early childhood sites.
  • Validate primary qualifiers for coaching services, site quality ratings, and CLASS® scores, as needed.
  • Link components of merged records to ensure that no data is lost, and that appropriate information is available for data analysis.
  • Analyze database reports, covering productivity, classroom coaching, child coaching, technical assistance, and training for accuracy for regional staff.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, responsive to VDOE requests and tailored to VQB5 metrics.
  • Compile data and complete monthly data reports, monthly summary data visuals, mid-year and end-of-year reporting, grant applications, in compliance with VDOE requirements.
