Job summary

Eaton RESA is seeking an Early Childhood Specialist to support educators, paraprofessionals, and families in implementing the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). This role ensures high-quality preschool programming through coaching, assessment, and collaboration with district staff.

The position emphasizes data-driven decision making, curriculum alignment, and ongoing professional development. It is grant-funded by the Michigan Department of Education and may require evening hours or travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
• Michigan Elementary Education with ECE endorsement.
• Three+ years of experience in early childhood education.
• Experience with curriculum and assessment planning.

Responsibilities

• Support MTSS data collection and instructional decision making processes across core instruction and intervention.
• Provide written and verbal feedback to staff for program improvement.
• Assist with curriculum and assessment planning and implementation.
• Facilitate development of meaningful program quality improvement goals with teaching teams.
• Plan and deliver early childhood professional development for teachers and paraprofessionals.
