Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a dedicated childcare assistant to support classroom operations and learning centers. You will assist with supervision, activity implementation, and daily records to ensure a safe, stimulating environment for each child.

Responsibilities include assisting with developmental screenings, lesson plan development, and referrals as needed, while upholding Head Start practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.
• Knowledge of Brigance screenings and CPI assessment.
• Experience documenting education records and attendance.
• Strong classroom observation skills and referral processes.
• Understanding Head Start knowledge and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant supervision during all activities, indoors and outdoors.
• Record attendance daily and report absences to supervisor.
• Develop weekly group lesson plans based on curriculum and interests.
• Implement individual and bi-weekly lesson plans (IEP/ISFP) per assessments.
• Refer concerns to the classroom teacher and maintain follow-up until addressed.
