Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah is seeking a Classroom Aide to assist the Education Supervisor and lead staff in supervising children ages 3 to 5. The role supports teachers with activities, routines, and active supervision in the classroom and on the playground.

This position may be regularly scheduled, serve as a substitute, or be on-call, depending on needs. The role is contingent on funding and not sponsoring H1B visas for international staff living outside the United States.

Formación

• Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma.
• Early childhood experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise children and assist teachers during circle time, transitions, reading stories, and learning centers.
• Monitor safety and supervision in classroom and playground.
• Assist with behavior management and model respectful interactions.
• Model hand washing, tooth brushing, and table manners for children.
• Assist with cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing toys, floors and surfaces.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
