You will work with staff to implement PBIS strategies, provide one-on-one behavioral support, and help create a positive, nurturing environment where every child can learn and thrive.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s social–emotional development using PBIS techniques.
• Plan and lead PBIS activities to teach emotional regulation and positive interactions.
• Provide one-on-one behavioral support to children displaying challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with classroom staff to develop and implement individualized behavior plans.
• Attend PBIS staff meetings, trainings, and monthly team meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding children and families.
• Keep PBIS materials organized and inventoried.
• Communicate regularly with the Mental Health Manager.
• Serve as a positive advocate for Head Start in the community.
