Qualifications

• Associate teacher qualified: High school diploma with minimum 9 credits in child development/early childhood education.
• Must be 18+ with 1,500 hours in a school-age licensed program or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certifications per licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment supporting Youth Development Outcomes.
• Engage with children, support health and safety, and document observations.
• Plan and outline curriculum to meet youth needs using emergent curriculum elements.
• Supervise and mentor classroom staff, practicum students, and volunteers.
• Maintain program records and weekly reports; communicate with families.
