Job summary

The Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County, Inc. is seeking an Associate Teacher to join our Early Childhood Education team. This position involves split shifts and responsibilities including assisting children during transportation and providing high-quality education for ages 0-5.

We require candidates to have specific educational qualifications, recent experience with young children, and the ability to engage children in learning activities. Room for growth through training and ongoing support is provided.

Qualifications

• Has 12 semester units ECE/CD, with a grade C or better.
• 6 months related experience with children ages 0-5.
• Has an Associate Teacher Permit or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist children safely during boarding, riding, and exiting the bus.
• Engage children with age-appropriate activities during transportation.
• Provide care and education for children ages 0-5.
