Qualifications

• Patience, empathy and love for working with young children.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow directions from lead teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Monitor children during indoor and outdoor activities ensuring safety and well‑being.
• Provide one‑on‑one support and assist with activities and behavior reinforcement.
• Observe and document children’s progress and contribute to reports for parent communication.
• Collaborate with the team to plan engaging learning experiences.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development.
• Promote health and hygiene practices among children.
• Assist with meal/snack times and daily care tasks (diapers/toileting).
• Support social‑emotional growth and development of students.
• Collaborate with other staff to provide a balanced educational experience.
• Attend faculty meetings and contribute to the school community.
