Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our Employee Child Care Center. You will work with the supervising teacher to provide direct care, maintain safety and cleanliness, and help create a stimulating environment that supports children's development.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, with CPR and First Aid certifications. Additional background checks and licensing compliance are required for this role.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required as appropriate to age group.
• First aid certification required; exceptions for RN/LPN with current license.
• Sworn Statement or Affirmation for Child Care Program required.
• Additional Child Abuse Registry background check for out-of-state residency in past five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to children enrolled at the Child Care Center.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for children.
• Share ideas and assist in creating a stimulating atmosphere for development.
• Ensure program operates in compliance with licensing requirements.
