Job summary

Valley Health is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Employee Child Care Center on a per diem basis for the first shift in the United States of America. The role works with a supervising teacher to provide direct care and create a stimulating, safe environment for children enrolled in the center.

Preferred candidates have education in early childhood education and prior experience in the field. Applicants must meet licensing requirements and may need background checks, including a special

Qualifications

• Education in the field of early childhood education is preferred.
• Experience in the field of early childhood education is preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• A qualified applicant shall be able to perform all duties outlined in the job description, and meet or exceed the minimum standards required in the licensing regulations set forth for licensed childcare centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and meet the needs of the children enrolled at the Child Care Center.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Share ideas and assist in providing a stimulating atmosphere to support the ongoing development of the children.
• Help the program maintain all operational codes and licensing requirements.
• Sworn Statement or Affimation for Child Care Program required; background checks may be required for certain residents.
