Job summary

Kids 'R' Kids Keller is seeking a caring childcare professional to support Lead Teachers in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities. You will help cover multiple classrooms, play and teach throughout the day, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for every child.

Role requires strong communication, teamwork, and reliability. A High School Diploma or GED is required, background check clearance, and CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, education, or youth programs is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teachers in implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Jump into different classrooms as needed to keep our day running smoothly.
• Play, teach, encourage, and interact with children throughout the day.
• Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Assist during meals, activities, nap time, and outdoor play.
• Build strong, positive connections with students, families, and teammates.
• Follow center policies and state licensing requirements to ensure excellence in care.
• Support personal care routines, including diapering and potty training when needed.
