Job summary

Hattie Larlham is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Columbus to support the education team by following IEP/IFSP plans and helping plan engaging activities. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, structured classroom and assisting in daily routines under supervision of the Director of Dahlberg Gibson Learning Center.

The position requires an associate degree or CDA, with a preference for a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood or CDA required
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience working with young children preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing student IEP/IFSP plans and related activities
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Support the lead teacher and intervention specialist in daily routines and planning
