Big Blue Marble Academy in Summerville, SC is seeking an Early Child Care Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in daily activities and maintain a caring, safe classroom for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.

You will document milestones with electronic tracking, work with families, and follow enhanced safety procedures to ensure every child thrives in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience working with children; daycare/preschool preferred.
• CDA or degree in early childhood education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher to facilitate daily activities and keep classroom functioning smoothly.
• Partner with families to nurture and care for children, documenting milestones using daily tracking.
• Follow safety guidelines to keep the classroom clean and safe.
