Qualifications

• 48 college credit hours or Paraprofessional Certificate from Oklahoma State Board of Education or pass the Paraprofessional Test with Bronze Level.
• Assist in classroom preparation and organization of materials.
• Support students individually and in small groups, including those with special needs.
• Assist with planning and implementing lesson plans and activities.
• Help maintain classroom order and intervene when needed.
• Communicate with the teacher about student needs and attend meetings.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and protect student confidentiality.
• Participate in school activities such as parent nights and home visits.
• Assist with meal preparation and basic cleaning duties in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the classroom for lessons and organizing materials.
