Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher in Edmond, Oklahoma. You will support the Lead Teacher with age-appropriate lessons and activities, maintain a safe and organized classroom, and engage with children during daily routines to foster curiosity and growth.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Genuine care for children and a commitment to safety and well-being.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of working with young children.

Responsabilités

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom per licensing and ratio requirements.
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication.
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.
