Job Description

The Senior Consultant II (Trial Attorney) represents insureds and the Company in defending bodily injury and property damage lawsuits. The attorney will handle a caseload with assistance and oversight as needed, conducting discovery, representing clients in arbitrations, attending and arguing hearings, and conducting jury trials.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of litigation files as the lead attorney.
• Meet with clients and claim representatives to develop litigation plans.
• Review evidence, draft pleadings, and manage discovery processes.
• Conduct alternative dispute resolutions such as mediations and arbitrations.
• Prepare for and attend court and arbitration hearings.
• Take depositions, prepare witnesses, and summarize depositions.
• Coordinate with claim partners through regular updates.
• Manage pre-trial work and attend hearings.
• Second-chair jury trials and potentially try cases with mentor support.
• No billable hours requirement.

Education

• Juris Doctorate degree required.
• Must be a licensed member of the Nevada State Bar in good standing.
• Must reside in Nevada for court appearances.

Compensation
