Job summary
Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks an early career data exploitation and analysis engineer to advance state-of-the-art SAR sensor systems in RF data analysis, computer vision, and image formation research. You will develop new methods for digital signal processing and imagery exploitation using cutting-edge datasets.
On-site position with relocation provided. Requires collaboration across teams and strong writing and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have education in RF signal processing and image formation and/or computer vision, including object detection and identification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance and SCI level clearance, possibly requiring a polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve digital signal and image processing techniques addressing real world national security challenges.
- Work with experienced R&D professionals to advance data analysis and exploitation.
- Work across RF disciplinary boundaries to develop novel SAR information products.
- Analyze and resolve anomalies in algorithmic performance and implementation.
