Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Assistant Project Controls Specialist in Saint Louis, MO to support project controls and reporting across small to medium projects. You will help with schedule development, cost control, WBS creation, and change orders, ensuring adherence to project execution plans and Earned Value practices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of project controls and reporting.
• Assist with project set-up in ERP/Planning software and logging.
• Assist with creating WBS and scheduling/cost reports.
• Help develop cash flows, forecasts and earned value management.
• Assist with change orders, PO/subcontract review, and field audits.
• Contribute to progress measurements and schedule progress updates.
