Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full-Time Early Career P&C Field Engineer for our Saint Louis, MO office to join the Power and Energy Team. You will participate in due diligence, investigation, remediation, design development, and construction of utility, industrial, and commercial scale projects, with focus on substations, power distribution, and protection systems.

Under supervision you will assist with data collection, engineering calculations, drafting (CADD, Aspen, CAPE), and documentation, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field is required.
• 0–1 year of post-education experience.
• Familiarity with electrical design software and standards.
• Ability to work under supervision and in a team.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and analysis for substation components.
• Support design, diagrams, and layout work for substations and power systems.
• Prepare documentation and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Develop electrical calculations for loads and sizing under supervision.
• Generate project records using electronic systems and field notebooks.
• Travel as required.
