Job summary

Woodside Energy invites undergraduates to join the Digital, Security & Innovation Internship Program in the United States. You will gain hands-on experience supporting Woodside’s U.S.

business through project-based work across digital, security, innovation and related tech teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, Data Science or related fields, with GPA 3.30+, and available for 12 weeks during Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing abachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CS, Data Science or related technical field.
• Rising junior or senior with an expected graduation date Spring 2028 through Spring 2029.
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university for the full duration of the 2027 internship.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30.
• Available for a minimum of twelve weeks during Summer 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States and must not require sponsorship.
• Agree to pre‑employment screening and no use of AI tools during application.

The Digital, Security & Innovation Internship Program is part of Woodside’s USA Early Career Pathways initiative and is designed to build a sustainable pipeline of future digital, technology, data, security, emergency management, and innovation talent.

The program provides undergraduate students with hands‑on, real‑world experience supporting Woodside’s U.S. business through project-based work across Digital, Global Security & Emergency Management, Innovation, and related technology-focused teams. Depending on business needs and academic background, interns may gain experience in areas such as software and application development, data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, automation, information systems, digital product development, data visualization, cybersecurity, security analytics, emergency preparedness and response, business continuity, operational resilience, risk analysis, technology implementation, robotics, emerging technologies, and innovation initiatives.

Interns may work directly with Woodside’s Digital team, as well as Global Security & Emergency Management, Innovation, and other business stakeholders, gaining exposure to how technology, data, analytics, and innovative solutions are used to improve decision‑making, efficiency, safety, security, resilience, and operational performance across the business. The internship serves as a primary feeder into Woodside’s future graduate and early‑career programs and supports Woodside’s broader workforce and capability planning strategy in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing abachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field
• Rising junior or senior with an expected graduation date of Spring 2028 through Spring 2029
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university for the full duration of the 2027 internship
• Minimumcumulative GPA of 3.30
• Available for a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive weeks during Summer 2027
• Authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., F-1)
• Agree to complete pre‑employment screening and understand that correspondence will primarily be conducted via email
• Agree not toutilizeAI or AI-assisted tools during any part of the application or interview process
