About the Program

The HSE Aviation Summer Internship Program is part of Woodside's USA Early Career Pathways initiative and provides students with hands‑on experience supporting aviation safety, operational risk, technology, and assurance within Woodside's broader Health, Safety & Environment organization. Depending on business needs and academic background, interns may contribute to projects related to aviation safety, operational assurance, risk management, aviation technology and innovation, safety data and analytics, human factors, emergency preparedness, regulatory requirements, contractor performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Interns may also have opportunities to explore how robotics, emerging technologies, automation, and digital tools can be used to support safer and more efficient aviation and operational activities. Interns will work alongside experienced aviation, HSE, engineering, technology, and operational professionals while gaining exposure to Woodside's operating environment, safety culture, and values. The internship serves as a primary feeder into Woodside's future graduate and early‑career programs and supports Woodside's broader workforce and capability planning strategy in the United States.
