Required 0-2 years in urban planning, strong communication, and data-analysis skills. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected. This position is based in Lexington, KY.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in urban, regional, or community planning.
• Desire to gain experience in planning, community engagement, data analysis, and preparing planning documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analyzing our clients’ parks and recreation offerings
• Support planning and facilitating community engagement, including public workshops and focus groups
• Review, analyze, and summarize previously prepared studies and reports
• Assist in developing surveys and analyzing results
• Work closely with other team members to prepare planning documents
• Create, format, and modify documents, spreadsheets, databases, and figures
• Prepare illustrative graphics and images for reports and presentations
