Job summary
Medline Industries, LP is seeking talented individuals for its Operations Management Development Program (OMDP). An Operations Engineer will drive continuous improvement in Medline's distribution centers, covering warehouse management, inventory, transportation, and customer service, with a two-and-a-half year program designed to build future operations leaders.
You will work on lean projects, help develop labor standards, track KPIs, and contribute to LMS/WMS configurations while rotating
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Systems strongly preferred)
- Internship experience in process improvement and/or project management is strongly preferred
- Travel required 30% of the time
- Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects within Medline's distribution centers using lean methodology.
- Configure and maintain Medline's labor management system (LMS) and warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track and review monthly/annual KPIs with the distribution centers.
- Support project management & emerging technology rotations and optimize inventory/control processes.
