Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or engineering geology required.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months is expected.
• Master’s or Ph.D. strongly preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Slope/W, GeoStudio, PLAXIS is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical field investigations.
• Monitor heavy civil construction projects.
• Perform and review engineering calculations.
• Address earthquake engineering considerations.
• Design and permitting for landfills.
• Evaluate dams and levees.
• Develop project-specific documents and reports.
• Write and review engineering reports.
• Drive to client or project sites as needed.
