The role emphasizes applying academic knowledge to real-world problems, performing design calculations, field investigations, and preparing construction documents within a leading environmental engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil and/or environmental engineering (required).
• Advanced degree in the same field preferred.
• At least 2 years of related experience (required).
• Experience with structural software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD, ANSYS (preferred).
• Experience with geotechnical software such as AutoCAD, Slope/W, FLAC, PLAXIS (preferred).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel (required).
• Health & Safety training and medical monitoring may be required (required).

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations following industry guidelines and codes (ACI, USACE, USBR).
• Perform CQA for heavy civil construction projects.
• Conduct earthquake engineering analyses.
• Conduct geotechnical field investigations.
• Evaluate dam and levee risk.
• Develop construction documents and reports.
• Drive to client sites and project locations as needed.
