Job summary

CLEAR is building the secure identity company of the future. We're seeking an early career Software Engineer to join our Digital Experience team. You will build and ship full-stack features on CLEAR's high-traffic sites used by millions to enroll, manage memberships, and book services.

The ideal candidate brings strong fundamentals, a bias for action, and a desire to grow quickly alongside experienced engineers. Tech stack includes Python, React, and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building production applications.
• Strong fundamentals across distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native apps using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD.
• Proven track record owning cross-functional projects from idea to production with bias for action.
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications powering CLEAR's identity platform.
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery through rollout and support.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Ops to translate problems into scalable solutions.
• Improve system reliability, performance, observability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to improve scalability and security.
