Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is hiring a Distribution Engineer I in Allentown to join our Power Distribution team. You will perform complex design work for electric distribution systems, both overhead and underground, and prepare drawings and specifications under supervision.

You’ll coordinate with clients and other agencies, support engineering calculations, and help meet project schedules while growing your technical capabilities and contributing to a leading environmental and engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Ability to handle contacts with clients and other agencies in connection with project design responsibilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical capability to perform to job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex detailed design of overhead and/or underground electric distribution systems.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and estimates for review by the engineer.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and design development to meet project schedules.
• Carry out related design duties with supervision and adherence to standards.
